Admittance into post-graduate law school or legal administration requires the mastery of communication and analytical skills. In today’s world of specialization, a successful candidate for a legal career must have the opportunity to explore the legal environment while developing that niche in environmental law, business law, criminal law, sports law, literary law, labor law or one of the more than 100 specialties practiced today.
Ripon College’s interdisciplinary curriculum includes not only a law and society minor but numerous opportunities to explore law within the philosophy, sociology and politics and government disciplines. No particular major is required for admittance into law school.
Students in the Pre-Law Society discuss the current state of the law while also helping those interested in the field, through LSAT practice tests, books and other opportunities.
