Black Student Union
The mission of the Black Student Union is: “Together, we can promote diversity.”
Students of all races and cultures unite for this organization known for its annual “Soul Food” dinner, a free meal provided by BSU members that typically includes treats such as mac ‘n’ cheese, fried chicken and collard greens.
Additionally, BSU members organize guest musician performances, films dedicated to subjects such as civil rights and social justice, discussions about topics such as inclusion and assimilation, and Black History Month activities every February.
Black Student Union encourages students to voice their opinions and be heard.
