Amnesty International is a global movement dedicated to fighting injustice and protecting and promoting human rights — personally, nationally and internationally.
Students in this organization research human rights in 150 countries. In Ripon, local members often can be seen at the Commons asking students to sign petitions. In 2013, Ripon’s members participated in conferences about social media, LGBTQ rights and even discussed the National Security Agency with Edward Snowden and Glenn Greenwald.
Join the global movement. Whether that’s campaigning for human rights through a signature or participating in a protest, Amnesty International’s strength comes from its members and supporters.
